Mercedes SLS AMG by ASMA Design

When it comes to tuning the all new Mercedes SLS AMG, it would seem that every aftermarket manufacturer has their own idea as to what it takes to improve upon German engineering perfection. While we are more used to seeing out there creations like the shark nosed CLS models and knife edged SLR’s rebodied with bare carbon fiber like the ASMA Perfectus, their take on the SLS is actually quite interesting.

While there are still no details as to how ASMA Design tackled modifying the 570 HP V8 engine, but it is clear from the exterior design upgrades that there is very little left over from the original design. The teaser image reveals a vehicle that looks more like the Ferrari 458 Italia then the standard gullwing thanks to a series of aerodynamically inspired air vents and carbon fiber accents that take the SLS from high end luxury sports coupe to a design so bold that it rivals the wide body special edition SL65 AMG Black Series.
