Onyx Concept based on the Range Rover Sport
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is an automobile that leaves little room for improvement. However, as is the world of tuning, there are people out there that simply can’t be satisfied by a go anywhere do anything luxury sport utility vehicle and those people crave more. It is exactly for this type of audience that the automotive aftermarket re stylers at Onyx have come up with this concept.
The modified Range Rover features a wide body conversion, new front grill and side vents all made from carbon fiber and a 14 piece interior trim kit. The Onyx Range Rover Sport concept comes with a lowered suspension and Onyx the tuner’s own TPM wheels measuring 22 inches in diameter. The appearance package will be complimented by a power upgrade for both gas burning and diesel engines, but Onyx is keeping tight lipped about this for now.
Onyx is also preparing the Platinum V conversion for the Range Rover Vogue. This special edition Land Rover will feature a new front bumper with integrated LED strips of driving lights and a carbon fiber grill. Out back there will be a redesigned rear bumper with cutouts for the dual exhaust as opposed to the original quartet of tailpipes as well as a new rear diffuser to complete the sporty appearance. Rounding out the Platinum V will be a set of blacked out double spoke TPM custom wheels.
